Assignment for Monday September 14
Shoot a one-minute story in your neighborhood using the five-shot sequence method. You will need more than one sequence to tell the story.
1. Hold each shot for 10 seconds.
2. Turn off the camera, or stop shooting with your phone after 10 seconds unless something is happening in front of you.
3. Take another 10 second shot and then another and another. Do not let the camera, phone, roll continuously. You need separate shots for editing.
Take another 10 second shot. Do the same for each shot. You want to have many shots for your sequence and you want to have many sequences to help you tell the story.
4. You do not have to edit. Just bring in your footage.
5. If you know how and if you can, transfer your video to the portable hard drive.
6. Bring the hard drive to class on Monday. You will use it to learn to edit with Premiere Pro.
